Gianna is an accomplished and creative makeup artist with experience in all aspects of makeup: fashion, video and print.
Her training and education, along with her pleasing personality provides her clients with a dependable, detail-oriented, and multi-faceted professional to add to the success of any occasion, within budget and on schedule, regardless of the nature, scope or location.
Growing up, Gianna always loved to play with makeup and perfume, creating her own colors and fragrances. Gianna became a licensed Cosmetologist at the age of 25. She was awarded 2nd place in a large SoCal Men’s Haircutting Competition and 2nd place in a Women’s Overall Competition between other stylists and other subsequent awards since then. Gianna has helped to create several Theatrical plays viewed by thousands of people, working on hair, body makeup, facial hair and wig applications and costuming.
Gianna owned her own salon for a few years. While working in the salon can be most gratifying, she wanted to free up some of her schedule to spend time with her newborn daughter. While being a single mother she wanted time to devote to her daughter’s upbringing and still have an income to support their lifestyle. Gianna decided to go to where her clients were and provide services outside the salon. This allowed her to schedule her clients around her own priorities and her clients availability.
Gianna’s diverse background and experience creates a unique style accredited only to her and her artistic talent. She has the innate ability to bring out the natural beauty of her subject, no matter the gender, ethnicity or character portrayal.
Whether her responsibilities take her on location or to a photographic makeup shoot, Gianna displays her mastery for creating the right look, a “flawless” look, whether by artistry techniques, beautiful skin tones, breath-taking shading or coordinating exquisite colors always with the needs, goals and objective of the client foremost in her presentation.
